Myles Garrett Got Pulled Over For Going 100 Miles Per Hour At 2 AM On Saturday, His 7th Road Incident Since Joining The Browns
Myles WHAT ARE WE DOING?
I wish I could come here on this comedy site called Barstool Sports and write a couple jokes about how the team has really rallied under the leadership of Shedeur Sanders. He speeds, we all speed. Maybe I could even workshop something along the lines of having thought 95 went to Texas A&M, but looking at his driving history, it appears he would've been a better fit at Georgia. If this were ticket 1 through 4, I'd even say he's rushing to the facility to study the playbook. But at this point with Myles, the jokes aren't even able to be made anymore. I mean, this is his 7th ticket since joining the Browns....and his 3rd time going 100+ (which doesn't even count the time he went 99...or 91). I'm all for jokes and having a good time, but at what point do you start to make a few changes in your life? I thought it would've been after his last accident in 2022 where his car came out looking like this:
At this point I think the Browns gotta do 2 things:
1. Get a fucking racing simulator at the office. It's clear this team has the need for speed, and we gotta give them something to scratch that itch.
2. Get Myles a personal driver and write it into his contract that he can't speed. I'm not joking, and I know this will sound lame, but remember the whole Kyler Murray must watch game film clause? Why are we letting this guy drive 100+ mph when we're paying him an average salary of $40 million a year? And honestly, it's not just for Myles, it's for the safety of others. Maybe I'm just a huge pussy in this situation but isn't going 100+ at 2 in the morning pretty fucking dangerous?
Listen Myles I want to be reading headlines about you breaking sack records and winning Defensive Player of the Year Awards, not about getting tickets and getting in car accidents. This story stinks, especially since he vowed to be better after his last one.
