The Fired State Trooper From the Karen Read Case is Trying to Get His Job Back, Even as His Conduct is Jeopardizing Another Murder Trial
You're not going to experience a 9.0 magnitude quake like the two Commonwealth v. Karen Read homicide trials without them creating tsunamis throughout the Massachusetts legal system. And the waves have now reached back into the very courtroom where those two trials took place in Dedham.
And the latest rising tides from this metaphor I'm already tired of and am about to abandon have to do the central figure from the investigation into John O'Keefe's murder, disgraced and now-former MA State Trooper Michael Proctor. Whom you may remember from such private texts to his buddies like Bitch, Whack Job, Nutbag, Balloon Knot, Leaks Poo and Cunt. All of which he put in writing when he wasn't saying he was searching through Read's phone and saying everyone would be better off if she just killed herself.
Let's play the hits once again:
Well the latest is update that Proctor is appealing the MSP's decision to fire him:
Source - Yesterday, it was the disgraced plus-sized ex-state trooper Michael Proctor back in that same Dedham courtroom where he was so badly humiliated last year by having to read his own obscene texts. This time the crack sleuth had to appear in connection with another murder case he totally botched. …
Ironically enough, a day earlier, on Monday, Proctor was in front of the Civil Service Commission. Don’t laugh, but he’s trying to get his job back, using the tired “disparate treatment” argument – that he’s being treated differently than other all the other crooked state troopers who’ve gotten lugged recently.
Imagine that! How does he think Karen Read felt about her disparate treatment? Out of seven million people in Massachusetts who didn’t murder John O’Keefe, she was selected by the corrupt cops in Norfolk County to be framed for his murder.
Proctor is whining that he needs the disciplinary reports of all the other state cops who are jammed up. He claims the State Police aren’t turning the evidence over to him in a timely fashion.
You know, sort of like Proctor is accused to not turning over the evidence in the murder case where the guy (who’s probably very guilty) had to sit in jail for more than three years.
So it was okay for Proctor to not give a bleep about turning over evidence quickly, but now that he’s jammed up, Porky Proctor is screaming bloody murder because the MSP brass are stalling handing the evidence he claims he needs? …
I wonder if Proctor wants to see the records of how other state troopers were treated who were busted cold soliciting “gifts” to their wives after arresting an innocent woman to make sure the connected people would walk?
Ah yes, that last item never really got the play it deserved. During the first trial, Proctor admitted that his sister Courtney relayed to him that Julie Albert - owner of the house where O'Keefe was found dying in the front yard - wanted to buy him something to show her appreciation for … something? This was three days after the killing. And rather than say "No chance in hell will I accept any gifts and I have to report this apparent conflict of interest right away," he simply said the gift should go to his wife, Elizabeth:
… gift”. Michael Proctor: “Get Elizabeth (Michael Proctor’s wife) one.”

If you looked up “quid pro quo” in the dictionary, you would find this set of text messages. These are the “witnesses” who the Commonwealth claims had NO RELATIONSHIP with the Lead Investigator, MSP Trooper Michael Proctor.
—————————
Elizabeth Proctor, the Lead Investigator’s wife, would reportedly leave laughing-crying emojis comments on all news stories, across social media, about the prosecution of #KarenRead for Officer O’Keefe’s murder (per the CW’s interview with “Natalie”).
Additionally, Elizabeth “Lizzy” Proctor reportedly harassed individuals—who expressed criticism of her husband’s known-to-her impropriety and corruption, or criminality in this investigation—by calling their workplaces in apparent attempts to get them fired or in trouble.
By December of 2023, Lizzy Proctor had hired criminal defense attorney William Kettlewell, who represented public officials charged with corruption in federal court.
—————————
The FBI’s investigation confirms that Yuri Bukhenik, also under MSP’s Brian Tully’s command, was told of and knew about Michael Proctor’s lifelong relationship with the Albert’s, or suspects that he would be investigating in this case.
Massachusetts State Police Troopers Michael Proctor & Yuri Bukhenik knowingly lied and misled a state grand jury back in early 2022 as confirmed by Michael Proctor himself, when HE was on the stand on February 1, 2024, in front of a federal grand jury, under intense questioning by the Feds.
Michael Proctor “admitted he had been lying about his relationship to the Albert’s, which means he lied to the grand jury, which means that evidence was distorted in front of the grand jury. And THAT is the burden that O’Dell requires”.

Extraordinary government misconduct doesn’t seem to appropriately characterize the intentional, murderous, cruel, criminal, deceitful, corrupt wrongdoing by members of OUR government, and OUR Commonwealth, who’s supposed to serve We the People.
Whose duty it is to protect and serve we the people, not frame innocent people and protect & coverup for the murderers.
Their sheer disregard for any kind of justice for Officer O’Keefe is repugnant.
When met with the evidence of who killed Officer O’Keefe—and it wasn’t Karen Read—instead of showing any care or concern for the murder victim, the CW pivots and actually thinks it’s appropriate to whine and cry victim for the very people they’ve received affirmative evidence were involved in his demise.
This should disgust you.
Officer John O’Keefe deserves justice. And his “brothers” in blue should be disgusted by their actions.
So good luck to Proctor and his legal team as they try to argue that smearing his only suspect, openly hoping she Aaron Hernandezes herself, and willingly accepting bribes from people who had a dead cop on their lawn somehow doesn't disqualify him from making traffic stops and working details at Logan Airport for double time and a half. Never mind having the power to arrest people and charging them with homicide. Good fecking luck.

Which brings us to that other murder case Howie Carr referenced. The one where the suspect has been sitting in jail for three years awaiting trial. Thanks largely - and stop me if you've heard this before - issues over Proctor's texts:
WCVB - Former Massachusetts State Police Trooper Michael Proctor, who lost his job following his testimony during Karen Read's first trial, returned to court on Tuesday morning but was not called to testify.
Proctor was expected to be called to the stand in a hearing connected with the 2021 murder of Marquis Simmons in Milton. Myles King and Brianna Gardner are charged in that case.
Attorneys met for hearings about investigative records and communications linked to Proctor. …
"He's not a defendant here, he's just a witness in a homicide case," said Proctor's attorney, Daniel Moynihan.
Also on Tuesday, the judge and attorneys addressed scheduling issues related to an ongoing attempt to obtain records of Proctor's personal emails and text messages. After his messages about Karen Read were revealed during her first trial, they want to see if he wrote insulting messages about other defendants.
Last month, a group of defense attorneys asked the courts to stop the destruction of Proctor's electronic records.
Data from Proctor's iCloud account was obtained during an FBI investigation into the handling of the O’Keefe murder case.
I don't want to get lost in the weeds of all the jurisprudence and rules of court here, but the defense is arguing that the prosecution hasn't been giving over evidence in a timely manner. That the Commonwealth has been slow-walking everything that they are entitled to under the rules of discovery. Which is why their client has been sitting in jail awaiting trial for three years. And he's apparently since been let out on a low cash bail.
And because everything Massholes touch is directly connected to Boston sports, the lead attorney is the same one who got former Patriots corner Jack Jones' airport gun charges dropped:
But this is all about Proctor. And how his either botching of the Karen Read investigation or outright corrupt handling of it (I'm going with the latter, but your miles may vary) is now affecting everything he's ever touched. What the lawyers like to refer to as "Fruit of the Poisoned Tree." Such that it's possible guilty people will go free. Or, like in Read's case, innocent people (and she is literally Not Guilty because the jury said so) will have their lives turned inside out, upside down and backwards because of the way Proctor chose to do his super important job.
Either way, we all lose. And if there's still a chance that anything in this crooked state is still on the level, Michael Proctor will lose his appeal.
