LeBron Appears To Be Spending His Offseason On A Boat With Nikola Jokic's Agent Supposedly Talking About "Big Plans" For 2026

On the court, despite being in his 40s and having spent over two decades in the NBA, LeBron James is showing no real signs of slowing down. He's still playing at an All NBA level (which is patently insane) and even if his eventual retirement is staring him in the face, he can still dial it back and throw his fastball on any given night.
When it comes to LeBron, this isn't just true when it comes to his play on the court. When LeBron is at the full height of his powers and in his prime, you're getting the passive-aggressive social media posts as well. Posts that are so vague that they could mean nothing, but at the same time, they could also tell you everything. Nothing, and I mean nothing LeBron puts out there on social is by accident. It's all calculated. Any type of social post involving LeBron is not an accident, you have to read between the lines.
This matters of course, because of a certain IG post
Hmmmmm, LeBron and Maverick Carter on some sort of expensive yacht/boat making big plans for the fall of 2026 with Nikola Jokic's agent?

What do we know about LeBron? Let's not forget that by picking up his player option this year, that means that come the fall of 2026 LeBron will be an UFA, able to choose wherever he wants to go for his next team.

What do we also know? That according to reports from LeBron's own agent, he hasn't exactly loved how the Lakers have handled this transition into the Luka Doncic Era, bascially throwing LeBron out like he's Woody to Luka's Buzz Lightyear. So what does he do? He lets a post like that hit the internet, knowing what comes next. This is what I mean when I say nothing is an accident with LeBron. You don't think he knows about the Denver/Lakers rivalry? You don't think he knows about his contract situation? You don't think he knows how it's going to be perceived?

From a basketball standpoint, if you're a player like LeBron and you're 42, wouldn't it make sense to go play next to Nikola Jokic? You know, this guy?
That's an easy way to extend your career a few more seasons. He'd probably have to play on the MLE or something, but whatever, you figure that out. Everyone knows Jokic is most likely signing his $300M extension next summer, so is it too inconceivable to think that's what they were talking about on that boat? LeBron asking Jokic's agent about their plans for next summer, talking about the roster all that stuff. You're naive if you don't think stuff like that was discussed. Even if LeBron isn't seriously considering it and put that out just to troll the Lakers, I'm at the point where you can't rule it out. Now that we know CP3 is retiring after this season, I find it VERY hard to believe LeBron will also retire at the same time, which means we'll at least get another 1+1 contract after this season, and it probably won't be in LA. Why can't it be in Denver?
It may be unlikely, but all I'm saying is put a pin in this moment. Don't be surprised if we get to next summer and we get the Shams bomb that LeBron is taking his talents to the Mile High City to play with Jokic. Lakers fans in their delusion will probably take this to mean that Jokic is coming to LA, but there's zero chance he turns down that $300M extension, which means the only other outcome would be LeBron becoming a Nugget. I get it sounds crazy, but to be honest, crazier things have happened so you can't completely rule it out.
