Find Someone Who Talks About You Like Baker Mayfield Talks About His Rookie Wide Reciever, Emeka Egbuka

Another day, another instance where Baker Mayfield lights up talking about his new rookie wide receiver out of THE Ohio State University, Emeka Egbuka. In this instance, Baker was asked a simple question on the Kelce brothers' podcast: "What are you excited for in Tampa this year?"

Some might say the beautiful weather. Some might say that the GM and Coach have been extended. Some might say the return of the 1976 creamsicle uniforms. Some might even say the entire rookie class is working super hard. But nope, Baker Mayfield specifically called out one guy.....and now the cat is completely out of the bag for anyone who was piecing together that while Chris Godwin is often injured and Mike Evans is another year old, the new shiny toy Emeka Egbuka is in for a BIG rookie season stat wise. He's currently going 127th ADP on fantasy drafts and my guess is that will change for the better as early as this morning, as Baker was quite literally glowing talking about him.

And yes, he can go up and get it. And yes, there's so much YAC potential. And yes, he learned precise route running from one of the very best in Brian Hartline. And yes, he's not just able to block, he's WILLING. But what makes Emeka stand out more than his peers? His INTELLIGENCE. He flew under the radar all season (until he went 1st round) because he played alongside Jeremiah Smith, but remember the 3rd and 11 game sealer in the National Title game? It wasn't Ryan Day who called that play. It was Egbuka....

Alright the more I type the more I realize that his props are probably changing on Draftkings as we speak. I might want to go hit the Overs before I publish. Because if only the experts knew what was coming yesterday....now the public is finding out this morning. Emeka Egbuka is about to be fucking awesome for the Bucs this season, and Baker Mayfield knows it.
