Ryan Day Says Ohio State Is Not The "Defending" National Champions, They Are "Attacking" National Champions
Sorry for the delay on this one. I was standing on top of a rooftop last night eating 99 hot dogs and drinking 99 beers with my friends, but I couldn't let this quote go by from the great Ryan Day without getting it on the blog. Everyone always talks about "defending" their National Championship after they win one, but Ryan Day....the greatest coach in the entire world who I've never said anything bad about in my entire life.....has done it once again. The boys are not defending shit this year (and we're certainly not going 7-5 like other champions* have done after winning their title*). What the Buckeyes are going to do this season is ATTACK. It's a whole new team. New coordinators. New quarterback. New D-Line. And Caleb Downs said it best in the summer, we haven't won shit yet.....but we're going to do it again.
^ That's our leader this year. Will Howard is gone. Jack Sawyer is gone. But now we've got Caleb and Sonny and Jeremiah stepping up next to help Ryan Day....the greatest coach in the entire world who I've never said anything bad about in my entire life.....run it back.
Ryan Day, mind you, who has solved the formula that has eluded him for a few years now:
Now you're all screwed. Looks like not only has he figured out how to defend attack our National Title, he's also solved the formula of how to beat Michigan. We're hanging 100 this year for sure.
