'He's Got Good Bullshit' - Jordan Spieth Perfectly Summed Up Why Scottie Scheffler Is The Best Golfer We've Seen Since Tiger

[Source] - "When I see him, I'm at the golf course. I see him here and there off the course, but when we're playing on the course at home, he shit talks," Spieth said. "He's very witty. You can't really go at him because he's smart, and he's got good bullshit."

"I mean, it's not necessarily just to me," Spieth said. "It's normally the other people that we're playing with. But yeah, not that I want to say it—I'm not going to quote him on that kind of stuff. But then when a tournament starts, he's incredibly competitive, as you see."

This right here is why Scottie is, well, Scottie. He's the best golfer we've seen since Tiger, most dominant, however you want to clarify it. But Spieth summing it up by saying he doesn't want to be a superstar, he has other stuff going on that he cares about, but more importantly when it comes time to being on the course he'll shit talk and turn into the competitive guy who runs away with wins.

The story right now is how boring Scottie's game is. He's not hitting insane shots, he just grinds away early in tournaments, pushes away typically on Saturday and then on Sunday is in cruise control where he doesn't make mistakes. He hits the fat sides of greens, stays away from trouble and doesn't try the hero shot. It's why he has this stat:

It's the fact that Scottie can turn it off and turn it on that makes him different. I also think it's telling that Spieth is the one who is saying this because once upon a time he was deemed as next. Now both golfers are a win away from completing the grand slam, which somehow seems forgotten when it comes to Spieth. I also saw Spieth compare Scottie to Jokic, which is perfect. Both have other interests, Jokic notably being horse racing and being back in Serbia. Scottie wants to be a dad and listen to Stu Feiner

Probably where Scottie picks up some of his shit talking if we're being honest. Would love to hear what he says on the course.
