'Oh My God!" - Justin Rose Started To Get Hot, Push For Contention At The Open And Promptly Hit One Of The Worst Shanks You'll See

Justin Rose once again found himself starting to get hot, fight for contention at The Open. Dude was on a run of 3 straight birdies had 5 birdies in his first 7 holes and then this. You know it's bad when Justin Rose's follow through is just a hand up and screaming oh my God. That's as bad as it gets, yet somehow isn't his worst shank yet this year

This is the difference though between pros and the rest of us assholes. We hit that shank, we're not making bogey. That will live with you for the rest of the hole, for sure the rest of the round and maybe even the entire season. Also why I prefer golfing when no one is standing around me. The fear of taking someone's head off on a shank is one I do not care to deal with. 

The broadcast even said the lie wasn't that bad. Not sure if grass grabbed the club on the way back, but the lie itself was bad. Just a brutal shot for him to drop one when you have to start chasing down Scottie. Hell of a bogey though.
