Now It Feels Like The Open: We Got Shane Lowry Telling The Course To Fuck Off And Jon Rahm Kicking His Club Down The Fairway

This morning didn't feel right. The conditions were too good, scoring was down and people were looking too comfortable. No one would say Royal Portrush is the toughest course in the world, that would be insane. But what makes The Open different is the mental aspect of links golf. I think every golfer talked about it and how you have to stay in the fight, be prepared for anything and we're starting to get that. Mostly the fact we're getting pouring rain, which feels like The Open weather. It's different than football weather, but you can relate the two.
More importantly we're seeing the temper tantrums:
Shane, what the hell man? I love Shane Lowry, might be my favorite golfer on tour. You can't say fuck this place when you have your own goddamn mural on a house leading into it. You don't get to say fuck this place when you won The Open here in 2019. You can be frustrated, you can say fuck off, you can't say fuck this place. It's the only course that Lowry can't do this on. A decent temper tantrum, but my favorite was still Jon Rahm
Wasn't even THAT bad of a shot. There's something endearing about one of the best golfers in the world looking like my 3-year old trying put a toy away before bedtime. That's the only thing I can relate this to. I've hit plenty of shit shots with my wedge, can't say I've done the pouty kick. Might have to add that one to the arsenal. I tend to just go with calling myself an asshole and then muttering about how it doesn't even matter, but I do appreciate the constant kicks.
