Johnny Manziel Says He Hated Cleveland, It Aided To His Depression, And He Wishes He Could've Gone Anywhere Else

I'll say this: I had to go check out the Impulsive Podcast myself to make sure I wasn't getting got by a random Twitter account. I refused to believe that Johnny Manziel was once again taking a cheap shot at the city of Cleveland as to distract people from the flat out embarrassing career he put together in the NFL. But after further review, not only is this quote accurate that the city of Cleveland contributed to his depression, he went even further by saying that he would've rather gone to.....literally anywhere else in the entire NFL than Cleveland.

My response to Johnny Manziel summarized in two words: FUCK OFF.

My response to Johnny Manziel summarized in one gif:

And for those of you who are looking for a little more substance, here's my full thoughts:

First of all, same. You contributed to the city of Cleveland's depression just as much, if not more, than we contributed to yours. We were the team that went out on a limb and drafted you in the 1st round, believing in you, and you repaid us by not even watching film and making bad choice after bad choice that ultimately led to you becoming one of the biggest laughing stocks in NFL history. So instead of sitting back at 32 years old saying things on this podcast like you think you could still play in the NFL but don't want to have to go to these smaller leagues like Canada first to prove yourself, how about you realize that the reason you are not just done with your career, not just a failure, but the punch line of a joke in every conversation your name pops up in is all because of YOU. Not because of the team that drafted you. Not because of the city you had to live in. It's because your inability to act like a professional whatsoever exposed that your lack of maturity overtook your God given talent once you were surrounded by other people with the same abilities. When the capabilities of the players became equal, you became terrible. Now why is that? Because when it came down to the controllables: your effort, your work ethic, and your choices….you were one of the the worst in league history. And when it finally clicks that you are the reason you were depressed, not the city that took a chance on you, you'll be a whole lot better off. You would've been the same damn bum in Miami or Los Angeles, if not worse. And if you would've gone to a franchise with a clue, you'd have fizzled out even faster because when the cream rises to the top, you sink based on your bad choices.

**My god, every time I read a comment like this from a piece of shit like Johnny (or from Sophie Cunningham trashing Cleveland as well), I thank my lucky stars for Jose Ramirez. Build the statue now. The only person in world history that not only loves Cleveland enough to stay, but to take a hometown discount as well.
