Harry Potter The Series Has Officially Started Filming And Dominic McLaughlin (Harry) Looks Perfect

HERE WE GO!!!!!!!!! HARRY HARRY HARRY HARRY!!!!

How exciting. I'll be honest, I wasn't sure if this series was actually going to happen. Even when they cast the kids, I got worried that something would end up HALTING this whole process and we would never get what was promised to us (practically a frame by frame account of what happens in the HP books.) This photo just sent a bolt of electricity through my body - THEY'RE DOING IT, AND THEY'RE DOING IT RIGHT.

What a precious angel Dominic is!!! We all of course immediately compare him to a young Daniel Radcliffe, but if we're talking book canon - dare I say Dominic looks more like Book Harry than Daniel? The hair, the eyes, the glasses - that scar looks a little off center but you can't win them all. I'm not going to get broken up over a floating scar. It's there, that's all that matters.

Eventually (inspired by Robbie Fox) I'd love to do a long stream where we watch all of the HP movies and rip them apart comparing them to the books before this series comes out. I'm not sure when I'll do this - when the release gets closer maybe? When I do, I'll make sure to check first with Klemmer, Tate, Nick Turani, and all of the other streaming juggernauts. I don't want to run into any other Harry Potter streams!!
