Maybe it got lost in the shuffle yesterday, but Chris Gotterup won the Scottish Open. I don't want to say he chased down Rory or anything like that, he just outplayed everyone on Sunday. There was a chance, early, it looked like it was going to be Rory's to win. Then the worst possible thing happened to the field. Chris Gotterup got put on the clock:

Won all of America over with that. Why? Because you should be celebrating the $1.5 million payday. That's a life-changing win, sure, but also you just won that sort of money. Not to mention he's showing personality. We don't get personality from golfers, unless it's them bitching about something more often than not. Gotterup just wants his money, simple and to the point. So shout out Rutgers, Oklahoma can try and claim him, but Chris Gotterup is a Rutgers dude through and through.
