Down Goes Mr. Met, I Repeat Down Goes Mr. Met!

I'm a simple man. If a mascot falls down I'm gonna laugh every single time without fail. Fall off a stage? Tears will roll down my face instantly. I must've watched this 50 times already. Mr. Met being unable to track down a flying tambourine before falling to his demise is 10/10 comedy. The recovery was pretty solid. Doesn't erase what happened, but he popped up almost immediately acting like that was totally supposed to happen. Gotta give credit where credit is due. I call it how I see it. 

You just know Frank is in his apartment watching a tight Mets-Royals game on his TV with that video playing on a loop on his phone as he breaks his 4th pair of glasses in 10 minutes. It's the last thing anyone in his building needed on a night like this. If they lose this game the rest of the season will fall under a concert curse, those are the rules. Bobby Witt Jr. hitting a go ahead two run homer as I type this blog is tough. If they can battle back though maybe they look back at the recovery as a sign of inspiration. One thing is for certain, their season hangs in the balance tonight. 

P.S. Nothing will ever top Rocky passing out in the rafters.
