Myles Turner Finally Breaks His Silence After His Shocking Bucks Signing

FINALLY the people get the long awaited Myles Turner social media post. From the Tiki Bob's to the damn pumpkin patches, Turner had nothing but nice things to say about Indiana / the fanbase in his 6 slide carousel. This is all well and good, but as Denzel Washington says in Gladiator II - That, my friend, is politicsssssssss.

These social media posts just kind of feel like checking a box. It's something you kind of have to do these days. Obviously it's somewhat important, especially for a player who was with an organization as Myles, but the story everyone wants to hear is what happened during negotiations. We already heard the Pacers side of the story, so what happened from Myles point of view? When Myles breaks his silence on what the factors that made Myles leave Indiana for their division rival. 

Maybe the most important part of these social media posts are that none of the current Pacers players have liked anything about Myles. Are internet detectives looking too deep into nothing, or is it telling that current Indiana players are liking posts about Kam Jones and ignoring Myles Turner appreciation posts? I'd say that's pretty damning evidence that the current roster isn't thrilled about Myles leaving. 

There are two sides to every story. Did the Pacers play hardball thinking no one in the NBA had enough cap to take Turner away from Indy? The Pacers came out and said all the right things about how they were willing to go into the tax to retain Myles, and they would have liked a chance to match. Then the nugget of "We found out Myles was a Buck via a SHAMS tweet" makes this whole thing even more dramatic and interesting. Why didn't Turner give the Pacers a chance to match? These are the details that everyone is dying to know. Was it strictly money? Not wanting to wait around a year for Hali? Or, fractured relationships? Appreciative of Myles letter to Indianapolis and his latest social media post was fine, but the real conversation the fans want is convinced Turner to pack up his stuff and leave town.
