An Indian Cricket Star Is Just One Of Many Men To Be Duped By An AI Model Influencer Who Is Going Viral After Posting Pictures Of Herself At Wimbledon
NY Post- Meet Mia Zelu, an AI-powered social media star who has amassed over 150,000 Instagram followers by sharing sexy pics of herself at various tennis events and elsewhere.
In a recent Insta post, the hyperrealistic blond bombshell is seen sitting courtside at the All England Club during Wimbledon while drinking Pimm’s, a drink that’s associated with the tournament.
Another showed the tennis influencer — whose creator is unclear — in the stands during a match.
Her photos aren’t the only things that are super naturalistic — Zelu also “uploads” surprisingly heartfelt and human-seeming messages as well.
Zelu even has a “sister” named Ana, who’s brunette and has amassed 266,000 followers on the platform by posting similarly glamorous snaps.
Despite the fact that Zelu discloses that she’s “AI” in her Insta profile, thousands of admirers liked her post and even posted fawning replies such as “you look stunning” and “will you marry me.”
Some even inquired about her “skin care routine,” although its yet unclear how many of these replies were posted in jest.
However, some hawk-eyed viewers noticed that Indian cricket star Rishabh Pant had liked many of her posts, leading them to believe that he’d been “catfished.”
“Rishabh Pant thinks he’s interacting with a real girl, totally oblivious to the fact that it’s an AI,” criticized one, while another scoffed, “Someone should probably tell Rishabh Pant that this is an AI account…’
Coincidentally, Pant’s likes of Velu’s posts are no longer visible on Instagram and he has yet to weigh in on the backlash, the Daily Mail reported.
Last year, a UK woman who fell for a “US army colonel” she met on Tinder discovered later that he was a romance scammer after he swindled her out of over $20,000 by deploying hyperrealistic AI videos.
Fucking AI Man ... fucking AI.
It's 2025 and everything is fucking insane. Officially. Let's all be honest Instagram was a place where girl looking girls thrived. Whether it be local from your neighborhoods in your friend group, celebrities, or full on models. IG was where they could throw 98 on the black. New bikini makes them look good? Gram. Nice outfit on a bachelorette party ... Gram. Cute group picture with a movie or song type caption? Gram. They knew that was the place to get the likes, the engagements and the DM's. They knew what they were doing and guys knew what they were doing taking their shots. Now all bets are officially off.
We got full blown AI creating pages and gaining followers and writing quirky captions like they are real people when it's some guy Fred in a fucking basement. This shit is insanity folks. I'm still confused as to how they do this, and hand up I'm a moron but like look at the pictures .. .that's a real person. How on earth can these computers literally make a person, and not only make a person but put them in settings like tennis events or the beach etc. Just lunacy. I really am scared for what they can do to people moving forward. They may even photoshop them in Afghanistan. Who knows what the limit could be?
And this poor bastard cricket player who got his likes exposed. You know how this went, one of his friends sent him the page or it got recommended to him on the algo aka suggested for you thing. He took a glance, assuming it was a real person, thought she was hot, gave a follow, never bothered to read the profile and didn't think anything of it. Now he's a catfish suspect. Like cmon. People can make a mistake by just clicking like without reading the in depth description. Hell Hank thought whale videos were real. And you got the IG Likes police coming for his throat after being detectives. Just leave the guy alone, or let him laugh about it with his friends. Also ... maybe stop making AI shit that looks like real people and trying to dupe them. Ever think of that.
