I Don't Know Who Has to Hear This, But Stefon Diggs Did Not - I Repeat NOT - Break Up With Cardi B, Despite Claims He Dumped Her Over a Thing Called 'Brazilian Butt Lift Smell'

But recovering from knee surgery hasn't been the only story of Diggs' offseason. In the proud tradition of past elite receiving targets in New England from Rob Gronkowski to Julian Edelman to Danny Amendola, he's begun a romantic involvement with a stunningly attractive A-list female celebrity:

Granted, it wasn't smooth sailing (pun intended) at the beginning:

But the Ziplock Baggie incident is in the past. And all it's been for Diggs is hard work leading up to camp and a seemingly idyllic relationship with the lady in his life. That is, until scurrilous allegations of a messy breakup hit the social media gossip sites. In fact, making it all the way to the British scandal rags:

Social media attention grew after an unverified claim suggested that NFL player Stefon Diggs allegedly made a derogatory remark about Cardi B's appearance following a cosmetic procedure, saying the athlete was tired of the rapper's 'BBL smell.' Some fans speculated that the remark contributed to a breakup between the two. In previous posts, Cardi B has spoken out against online misinformation, urging her followers to question the validity of claims circulated online.

Yes, she has. She has indeed. It cannot be stressed enough that Ms. B has very might spoken out against this online misinformation and urged her followers to question this untrue claim:

And indeed, is embracing Diggs' superhuman work ethic and is working out alongside her love interest:

So let's put those ugly rumors to bed once and for all. Better still, let's take them out behind the barn where they belong and put them out of our misery like this lovely couple deserves. 

And while we're at it, let us vow to stop the BBL Smell-shaming. I don't know if it's a real medical phenomenon or not. This is frankly the first I've ever heard about it. And were it not for the fact this particular story involves the love interest of my team's new WR1, I'd still be in the dark on this. But it if is an actual thing, the women who experience it need our empathy, not our scorn. They'd have come down with this because they wanted to live their butts. Which is a noble and selfless thing to do. Instead of rejecting them, society should embrace them. Give them all the treatment they need. And the dignity they've earned for trying to make their outer beauty match their inner beauty. We should have support groups. Raise money to find a cure. Get the NFL to perhaps heighten public awareness by putting Brown Ribbon logos on the field. Do anything but spread salacious, false rumors like the internet has been.
