TOUGH loss for Angel Reese & the Chicago Sky today in our nations capital. Credit where credits due, Angel absolutely balled out to the tune of 22 points, 15 mebounds, 4 assists so you can't really pin the loss on her.

However, despite not being a body language expert, seeing a moment like this from your #1 leader with 30 seconds left in a TIE GAME doesn't seem... great.

Sure you could say she's just following the Mulkey coaching tree... But hasn't the subject of "body language" & "attitude" been a pretty big discussion in the WNBA this season?

Very interesting indeed. I feel like I've seen plenty of players talk to refs immediately after a confusing loss, so not sure what the controversy was there. I've definitely watched Kobe Bryant do the rest of those things many many times and he's regarded as possibly the best basketball competitor of all-time.

Not sure I ever saw him whack a clipboard out of Phil Jackson's hand though. Maybe he's more comparable to CC after all? It's gotta be the shoes Money!

But I'm not trying to hijack this blog into a bunch of Clark quotes. Just thought it was interesting that I didn't see much discussion about that Angel play online. To quote Maximus Decimus Meridius, "ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED? IS THIS NOT WHY YOU ARE HERE?!"

And if he was still alive today possibly, respectfully, "SUP."

But who knows, maybe the talk shows will get around to it tomorrow. Until then I will do as the kids do and stand on business to serve Ms. Mebounds her flowers. Despite one of the more bizarre player/coach moments I've seen in years today, A5 has been absolutely killing it over the past few weeks stats wise (still 2nd worst record in The W though).

Definitely deserving to be an All-Star and there's no doubt she's gonna be a fierce force in this league for the next decade. STRAP IN AND STRAP ON CHICAGO.

I will fully admit I am trying to equal her tenacity on the boards & not give a fuck-ness in life… So I did just get her jersey for my desk to help inspire #pageviews. Will report back on if it works or not.
