Oasis Just Put On The Show Of The Century For Their Reunion
What a night. What a show. What a band.
I have no voice and minimal energy at 1:15am local time right now, but after writing a thousand Oasis blogs in the lead up to tonight, I figured I had to get something up on the site for the reunion itself - especially considering that was the best concert I've ever been to. When I tell you it was worth a lifelong wait and a trip across the world for me, I mean it.
I'm still in disbelief at how amazing they were, to be honest. Liam and Noel in top form, walking on stage hand-in-hand, playing the most jam packed-with-hits set of their careers, and hugging to end the night? It was perfect. Everything about the show was perfect, really. Just an unbelievable performance by the band and the best crowd I've ever been in.
I can't say enough about the dream come true that this was, and how much it lived up to the hype in my head. If you were on the fence about getting tickets to this tour - pull the trigger now. They are firing on all cylinders.
I'll have a longer blog on the whole trip at some point in the next few days (hopefully less scatterbrained/more coherent than this one), but for now, enjoy the shakey ass videos I got tonight....
