Mavs Fans Clearly Still Hate Nico Harrison After Chanting "FIRE NICO" While Dallas Drafted Their Next Franchise Savior In Cooper Flagg

Even though it's been about a month since we all witnessed Adam Silver and the NBA clearly rig the Lottery for the Mavs and gift them Cooper Flagg as a favor to gifting Luka to the Lakers, that just so happened to take place right before they were immediately sold for $10B that I'm sure is all just a coincidence, it's still weird as hell that he's actually a Mav. Hearing Adam Silver talk about how happy he was that he was going to Dallas was awkward considering we all know he orchestrated this whole thing.

For Mavs fans, they've been living through a type of hell that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. I certainly don't give a shit about Luka or the Mavs, but as a fanbase that was about as fucked as it gets. That's the type of shit that changes things forever and I'm not sure Adam Silver or Nico Harrison fully understand that. They think that being gifted a generational talent is enough for them to forgive Nico for what he did. Once again, they show zero awareness of what's actually happening with that fanbase, because all signs point to every single Mavs fan still hating that man's guts

I love this. This is a great display of being able to separate two entirely different things. Every Mavs fan can root for AD/Cooper and want the best for them. They can be as happy as ever that a #1 pick just joined their team and all that. But they can also tell Nico Harrison to go fuck himself. That's never changing. Even if the Mavs win a title it's probably not going away, because that's a title that should have been won with Luka that Nico robbed them of.

I also respect the hell out of a good grudge, so to see a shit ton of Mavs fans still this adamant about firing Nico Harrison on the very night you are drafting your next franchise player, that's pure hate. That's hating with your soul. That's the good shit.

Hopefully, Cooper lives up to the hype and has a great time in Dallas for the next 7 years before it's time to come home and play for his hometown team, and I am certain Nico Harrison is the perfect GM to make that dream a reality.
