The Love Island Producers Might've Saved This Season: Love Island Episode 20 RECAP
The love island producers knew we were going through hell. They knew that we were on the brink of cold turkey quitting this show. So what did they do? Put us through the EMOTIONAL RINGER!!! Thank god it worked out in the end because I was ready to curse out the entire Love Island crew and Peacock. I was fully sobbing at the end, I couldn't believe what I was watching.
At the beginning, the episode started off with A LOTTTT of chats. Cierra and Elan seem to be hitting it off, but poor Cierra is constantly thinking about Nic. It seems like she really likes him, and the separation is making her realize that. Iris and Zac are chatting and I ship them. Zac is super cute, and I feel like him and Iris look so good together. Huda and JD have a good chat, and JD is rubbing off on me more.
The next morning, the chats continue with Vanna and TJ seeming like they are gonna be a new couple. Coco and Ace are hitting it off, as well as Clarke and Taylor. Olandria sets a boundary with Zak and says that she won't kiss him outside the challenge. Amaya sneaks in after this and shares a kiss with Zak (she does tell Olandria later in the night). She is fighting for her life at this point, and by that I mean she is fighting to stay in the villa. Austin and Jaden really connect while Cierra gets emotional about Nic. Meanwhile, Nic is putting in all of his effort into Jaden. So now, Jaden has the option of two boys.
At this point, I am bored as fuck. So many chats that I just dont give a fuck about. There is basically not a single strong couple. There are people with strong feelings, but no strong couples. Taylor doesn't give a fuck about Olandria, Ace is hitting it off with Coco, and Chelley seems to be really like Chris. Nic is so laser focused on Jaden, while Cierra cries about him! But then it is time for the recoupling, and it is revealed that whoever isn't in a couple will be immediately dumped from the island.
Amaya is the single girl so she is standing in front of everyone. The casa boys are told to stand if they have a connection with Amaya. The boy who stands is…Zak. He is couple up with Olandria. Zak and Amaya couple up which means Olandria is now single. The casa boys are now told to stand if they have a connection with Olandria. No one stands and the text that she is dumped from the island comes through. I am in pure shock. I am screaming at my TV. I start crying! This isn't fair!!! This is NOT the point of Casa Amor! She shouldn't be punished for being loyal!

I am distraught, and pissed the fuck off. Little did I know that it was about to get worse. It is time for the recoupling for the boys and casa girls. TJ is single, and Vanna stands up for him leaving Ace single. Coco stands up for Ace leaving Taylor single. Clarke stands up for Taylor, finally leaving Nic single. I was shocked that Jaden didn't stand up for Nic, and chose to stay with Austin. Austin over Nic is just pure crazy. I am screaming at my TV. NO NO NO! Not Nic! First Olandria and NOW NIC?!?!?! Nic receives the text that he is dumped from the island, and at this point I am bawling. I feel so bad for them! This is not how the Love Island journey should play out for them! Also, watching boys cry always makes me cry so when Nic, Ace, and Taylor were all hugging and crying I was a mess.
Everyone was crying like someone got hit by a car. Chelley's tears took off all of her makeup! Ace and Taylor hugged so tight and told each other that they loved them! Even Pepe was shedding tears!! I truly couldn't believe my eyes. They were somehow making a bad show worse. But then, as Nic turned the corner to walk out the villa, everything changed.

HEHEHEHEH. HAHAHAHA. WOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO. OLANDRIA COMES IN THE LOVE MOBILE TO SAVE NIC! THE NICOLANDRIA HIVE LIVES TO SEE ANOTHER DAY!!!! THEY REELED ME RIGHT BACK IN! They really did their big one and it paid off. I have to give the producers credit where credit is due, because I really thought they ruined the season. Now, we don't know what this means exactly. Where are they going? What will they be doing? Do they have to couple up? So many questions to be answered. From what I have seen online, they have done this on Love Island France. They had the two people who got dumped watch the rest of casa amor and return as a couple. I love this idea, I would love to see Nic realize how much Cierra likes him. Olandria NEEDS to see how much Taylor doesn't! And maybe they will fall in love in the process! I am locked the fuck back in. Thank god there is no episode today so we can absorb all this information, and prepare for Thursday.
