Mike Katic Sr. Might Be The Coolest Man On Earth (And Is A Dawg On The Pool Table)

So last night we set out to play a perfect game of 9 Ball, and by that I mean that we tried to make balls 1-9 in a row without missing a shot. Apparently those aren't the rules to 9 Ball and we made it much harder on ourselves? Either way, the point of this blog is not pat ourselves on the back for completing what some are saying is the hardest challenge we've ever done (although I will take this moment to show the final run through)....

If that 9 ball didn't go in, I think we'd still be there. Thank you to my lord and savior Jesus Christ for guiding that ball home. Angels at the pool table, make the movie. Anyways, back to the point of the blog: Katic's Dad. Here's how I first met him.....he walked in and immediately spotted the pool table we brought in wasn't level based on the eye test alone:

That's something only a Dad has in his bag. I had no idea what he was talking about, but I knew he was 100% correct based on his trial methods alone. But it wasn't just the entrance, it was the entire night. The man drove 8 hours to be on the stream, stayed up til 3 in the morning, and he was never going to quit…..all while ripping shots and drinking beers and smoking cigs. I honestly think Mr. Katic would've died at that pool table if he had to last night. Probably would've been happy to go that way as well, doing what he loves.
