Cruel, Cruel Punishment: SGA Was Basically On A Different Planet While Doing A Morning Show Interview The Day After Winning The Title

Shai is the latest athlete to get the brutal punishment of being forced to go do some pointless interview while being shit faced/hungover. We have to make this stop. Look at that man! He's fighting for his life, he's on Pluto while trying to fight through this interview. The guy just had the biggest, most important night of his life and we're making him do morning shows? Absolutely not. It's time everyone with a brain comes together and puts an end to a cruel and unusual punishment. We live in 2025, you can see interviews the entire night, just run one of those instead of this. It's by far the closest I've seen someone hit the Stetson Bennett level of still drunk while interviewing though

I don't care how old you are, where you are in your career or what sport you play, everyone has the same idea after winning a title. Get fucked up. It's not a one day thing either. You go from the night you won the title into the parade into all the appearances and stops along the way. You gotta mentally prepare for a bender and you don't do that with a morning interview about god knows what. I'm not a 65-year old mother in Iowa, I don't watch GMA. Even more reason why you don't need any person to do an interview at 6am. 

It's good to know that Shai at least had himself a night. I saw people try to shit on how the Thunder partied in the locker room or on the court, because people need to complain about everything. SGA's eyes and voice say otherwise. That man is toeing the dangerous line of still drunk/deathly hungover.
