'Now I Got A Real One' - Alex Caruso Had A Couple Beers, Started Cracking Jokes That The Lakers Bubble Title Was Mickey Mouse And Doesn't Count

I love Alex Caruso, not sure if there's really anyone out there who can hate him. Dude just wants to play defense, work his balls off and be the old man on a team winning a title. Plus, he's bald. Being bald always helps in any scenario if you ask me. But Caruso is the one who played for the Lakers in the bubble, won a title, got stuck in hell with the Bulls and then finally made it to a real winner. A non-bubble winner.

But look, Caruso had to clarify here. He knew what everyone was going to do with this quote, make fun of the Lakers because it's deserved. So he got ahead of the story.

Very relatable here because you know Caruso was just feeling loose enough to crack jokes. We've all been there, but you say that one that you probably shouldn't have said. Start spinzoning it and make sure that everyone knows it's a joke and you're completely not serious that the Lakers playing in a bubble with no fans counts the same as every other title. At the same time Alex Caruso is a two-time champ, that counts. It's like naming your favorite kids, dogs, whatever you want, you have a favorite and the real title is Caruso's favorite.

Can't tell me he isn't needed on a team like the Thunder

Leader to its finest right there. All I know is somehow this was the first year where it felt like Caruso jumped out more. Not just playing, but was making jokes and having quotes all year that mattered. Guess it helps when you play for the best team in the league, in a real year. Shout out Alex Caruso, congrats on the real title finally.
