The Pacers Being That Close To A Championship Only To Have It End Like This Has Officially Broken My Sports Heart

The playoff run of a lifetime, and it ends like this.
I have no words. It all feels so wrong. Nearly two months of insane comebacks and iconic buzzer beaters all to have it go up in smoke in the most cruel way possible. Hali starting the game like that too, draining 3 3s and sending an early message to OKC that Indy would not go away quietly. He looked so good and it just didn't matter because of what was to come not long after.
This might have killed me as a sports fan. The Pacers were one win away, up by a point at halftime only to have it all fall apart. So close, and now next season is basically a wash with Haliburton getting hurt. Prayers up to an absolute Warrior laying it all on the line. I'm about to go film a Pacers man on the street, but it feels like Im about to go interview people after a funeral. This is the wooooooorst. At least the silver lining is WW3 is basically about to start, and in a post apocalyptic world, championships won't matter. All that will matter is our physical bodies that will be our only source of currency in this strange new world. It's grim, but that's life now. I'll check in with everyone tomorrow, and hopefully I have more of a glass half full perspective, because this absolutely SUCKS.
