God, I love this man so much. Barkov was on demon time last night. The lights were on, but no one was home and that’s perfectly fine, because the double champ does whatever the fuck he wants. Do you have any idea how obliterated you have to be to comment on your own Instagram Live? That’s next level drunk.
Buddy didn’t even realize he was at a strip club. He was just walking around high fiving strippers like they were fans at the arena. Completely in his own world. But the real highlight? The man confessed on IG Live that there are only two things on his Instagram search history: Summer Rae and Sam Reinhart. Two absolute rockets, but in very different ways. One’s an absolute smoke show, the other’s his teammate and apparently also his biggest crush. That’s the kind of honesty you only get from a man who’s a hundred drinks deep with a Stanley Cup ring on each hand.
Seeing our captain this wasted is what it's all about. It’s a reminder that these guys these icons we put on a pedestal are just like us. They drink too much, they say dumb shit, and they fall down in nightclubs. The only difference is they’re elite athletes who just went back to back and now get to celebrate like kings.
