Golf's Bad Boy: Wyndham Clark Had To Apologize For Smashing A Locker At Oakmont, A Month After He Apologized For Throwing A Club At The PGA Championship
This was at the PGA Championship basically exactly a month ago. That led to this apology:
People were freaking out about it because he nearly smashed the marshal working by the sign. People also freak out any time a golfer shows emotion. But now we have a case of repetitive behavior on our side and Wyndham Clark becoming golf's bad boy:
Now this was all allegedly until Clark admitted it today and apologized (again):
I love this so much. Not necessarily smashing lockers, that's a bit aggressive. But I love Clark being like hey for Oakmont and the USGA let's just move on and never talk about this again. Smart. Look out for the others because you want to focus on making the Ryder Cup and FedEx Playoffs. It's the perfect apology. Take some blame, but turn it everyone else to not talk about it. Mission accomplished.
I'll say this too. Golf needs a bad boy. The problem is we need someone to commit to the bit. We need someone to freak out and every major and need Kevin Nealon around him

Everyone at Royal Portrush needs to be on high alert next month. We're 2-for-2 in the last majors of Wyndham Clark having to apologize. Gotta think he's going to be very tame and trying his best to hold it together. To his credit it was at least a locker this time and not on the actual course.
