Shedeur Sanders Was Issued A Speeding Ticket For Going A Calm 101 MPH After Midnight

Well now I’m in a tough spot here. Because I led the charge on the hype train surrounding Shedeur at Colorado not being worth the drama, but now he’s MY GUY. And while I do have precedent of blindly supporting my guys, especially at the Quarterback position, that really hasn’t panned out very well for me or for the Browns. I still get comments reminding me that I cheered for Deshaun Watson….. 

So what card do I play here? Because it’s pretty easy to point out the obvious that the guy who reportedly slid in the draft due to character issues, that Deion and co. then laughed off acting like the media was making up lies to bring his son down, just got clocked going 101 MPH outside Cleveland on a weeknight after midnight. And before anyone gets any funny ideas to point out that Myles Garrett has a history of speeding problems himself, Myles Garrett also has a history of winning the NFL’s Defensive Player of the Year award. If Shedeur was an All-Pro QB, it’d be easier to brush this off….but he knows he’s under a microscope and he’s doing things like running hills on camera to show how locked in he is to the fans….but then he makes dumb decisions like this? As a 5th rounder? Could be 5th stringer?

But on the other hand I could take the route of siding with my boys blindly. Good to see Myles Garrett’s leadership is rubbing off on the rookies! And are we really going to get on the kids case for speeding home to study the playbook? I don’t want my quarterbacks going the speed limit. I want them driving with a purpose, having somewhere to be. Go Browns
