The Planned Chicago Fire Stadium Downtown Looks So Sick

I am a sucker for stadium rendering and this one tickled me. Imagine a) being rich and b) having a boat and c) driving that boat to right to the stadium to watch the Fire take on some former European super star. 

When done right, the live soccer fan experience can't be beat. It's why I've become such a huge Premier League fan and take a trip over at least once a year to the World Famous City Ground. For the first time in their history, the Fire are giving themselves a chance to create that type of experience. Perfect size, great location, and hopefully a winning team to give us something fun to do on summer nights in the city. I will be a fan if this thing comes to fruition. I can get behind an owner who puts his money where his mouth is. He was in on Neymar, he was in on De Bruyne. Couldn't control those situations, but I applaud the effort. Now he's getting a sick ass stadium. Great start to building something people can get behind.
