'They Were Too Dumb To Play Him': Love Seeing Will Wade Stir Shit Up In A Rivalry, Waste No Time Taking Shots At UNC And Hubert Davis

Everyone knows there's a difference in expectations and history between UNC and NC State. But it's still Tobacco Road. This is still a rivalry that should matter, basically I want all the old ACC teams to still hate each other. If Ven-Allen Lubin is going to be the catalyst to getting some hate back in this and a little bit of heat so be it. Worth the transfer, even if Will Wade is just randomly saying words to fire up some NIL boosters

Will Wade is one of those guys who should have always been at a power conference school. He has the personality and character that we need in the sport. I also think he can coach his ass off, I don't care how much money he uses or anything like that. Everyone is paying guys, can't use that as an excuse anymore. 

Basically, I want rivalries to matter. Conference realignment is one of the dumbest things we've seen in sports. Everything we grew up with is gone and it's rare you get the feeling a game matters outside of the few big ones. Will Wade can at least stir shit up and piss people off. That's something the sport needs back. I want these schools to hate each other. I want NC State, UNC, Duke and Wake to have a rivalry and obviously it starts with the majority of those teams not sucking every year, but you get the point. Never thought Ven-Allen Lubin would be the reason Will Wade pissed off UNC fans, but here we are.
