With Tyrese Haliburton Getting Injured, It Might Be Time To Say Goodnight To The Indiana Pacers

What the fuck, Hali? That was a brutal watch on so many levels. I'm in pain. Nothing fun about watching your team get curb stomped to go down 3-2 in the finals to an unlistenable ESPN broadcaster soundtrack.

All around terrible first half where nothing went right, including maybe the worst possible situation - Tyrese Haliburton taking a trip to the locker room to get an entire Sleep Number Bed wrapped around his calf. Not sure what his sleep setting will be on that bad boy, but I know there is no amount of comfort that will help me get to bed at night after clawing back into that game to only fall short. I'm not in full panic mode, but on top of the disappointment from tonight's loss, I dread the life long nightmares I'll have about blowing Game 4.

Obviously Haliburton's leg isn't 100%, and the conversations surrounding him are going to be insufferable, but you can't win with your star player giving a performance like that. Credit to Haliburton for staying in to run the offense, but was that the move? Should TJ McConnell have played more minutes? A crazy question, but TJ might have been the better option. If not for Haliburton, maybe for Nembhard? I understand wanting to put SGA in Nembhell, but TJ was a game changer.

TJ is a DAWG, but where were the rest of the DAWGS? When TJ McConnell is arguably one of your best players, you're not going to beat the historically good OKC Thunder team. Siakam, McConnell, and Tony Bradley ain't gonna cut it.

Down 3-2 is a tough pill to swallow, especially when game 4 was right there. Can the Pacers win two games in a row with a hobbled Haliburton? It's close to impossible, but this Pacers team has done the impossible all season. I believe. Time to win game 6.
