I Give Ohio State's New Basketball Court Design A 10! A Fucking 10!

Listen I'm not going to beat around the bush with my criticism of The Ohio State University's Basketball Program. It's a complete and utter embarrassment that we're a 1st round exit team in the tournament. And I'm not even talking about the NCAA Tournament. I'm talking about the Big Ten Tournament. Can't happen. Can't fucking happen. Not when you have the money, the stature, and the prestige of being the world famous Buckeyes. Unacceptable.

With that being said, I do have two points to make:

1. I believe in Jake Diebler. I'm not jumping off the boat because we had a rough ending to year 1. He bleeds Ohio. He's energetic. He's a great recruiter. And most importantly, he bleeds Ohio. I know there's a lot of people saying he's on the hot seat in Year 2 here, and he probably is simply because you CAN'T be a first round exit Big Ten tournament team at Ohio State, but that doesn't mean I'm not giving him my full support heading into the battle this year. He kept the most important people in Bruce, Dev, and Mobley (and got rid of the rest of the fucking BUMS that transferred in last season). I'm not here to hate on kids, but that transfer class last year should have to give their money back at minimum, and probably hand write an apology to the fans and donors as well. Diebler is the head man so he knows he has to own the blame, but my shit list starts with people like Aaron Bradshaw not living up to the hype or the money well before I blame Coach. But yeah, we have a new crop of transfers coming in this year, and as long as they don't flop like last seasons, I expect to be much better this year.

2. This court is fucking awesome. 

Look Good = Play Good. Generally I hate novelty courts (and am a little afraid that Ohio State had to go gimmicky here because the product on the court can't flash itself), but I must admit I love this design. Adn I'm the biggest hater out there that The Schott is a concert venue and not a basketball arena, but controlling what we can control right now, this is a great upgrade for the program. Scarlet and Grey. Huge Block O. What else can we ask for?

Great job to the design team. Now let's fucking play better, real team.
