Candice Cameron Bure Thinks That Horror Movies Are A Portal To Demons

SOURCE - On a recent episode of “The Candace Cameron Bure Podcast,” the “Full House” star explained that her family will sometimes “make fun of her” whenever she talks about “spiritual things” happening in her home. One topic that makes her husband and kids start “rolling their eyes” is the TV, or as Bure calls it, “the portal.”
“Like if you’re watching this, or you’re playing this video game, or whatever, that’s a portal that could let stuff inside our home,” Bure said. “I don’t even want someone watching a scary movie in our house on the TV, because to me, that’s just a portal.”
As a country, we have some wild superstitions and beliefs. People avoid stepping on cracks in the sidewalks to not break their mother's back. They will tie breaking a mirror to seven year's bad luck. We all think of some stupid shit. But spending almost your entire life in show business and think that movies can bring demons into your house, that's fucking crazy.
SOURCE - “Listen, I’m in the film industry,” Bure added. “I understand how it all works. I know that movie has a crew of 200 people, and they’re lighting it, and they’re adding the sound effects, and it’s makeup, and the camera, people, and actors. However, there’s still something that can be incredibly demonic while they’ve made it.”
I would say you don't understand how it all works at all! Plus, there are horror movies coming out nearly every week. Why aren't there more demons running around?
I also think horror films are in the eye of the beholder. Full House is about three young kids whose mom just died in a car accident. The sudden death of a parent is every child's worst fear. We also don't know much about this car accident. Was Danny Tanner driving? Was this intentional? Was it bad weather? I am far more scared of someone I love dying in a car accident than a demon portal.
Finally, when your family is rolling your eyes because you are saying crazy shit (and that's happened to all of us), maybe you keep that one to yourself. Families are great test dummies for the insane things that rattle around in our skulls. If the people that love you the most in the world aren't buying into this at all, what will everyone else think.
However…for the first time in my life, I am kinda interested in The Candace Cameron Bure Podcast.
