Every Single Person Associated With The USMNT Should Be Mocked For The Ultimate Dogshit Showing, Ruined Any Hope This Team Had Left

I'm well aware of the roster that we put out yesterday against Switzerland, I don't care. That was as embarrassing, pathetic, dogshit showing the US Soccer team has ever had. It's a home match, granted against a decent Switzerland team with their normal players out there. But it's a home match in a game that the US has to show up in. It's not even they lost 4-0, they looked like a JV team trying to play soccer for the first time. Look at this shit from Matt Turner

It's a disaster top to bottom. The federation put us in this spot and has been a mess for years. The top guys playing in Europe and supposed to be the Golden Generation don't give a shit despite the talent. The MLS guys who actually care are shit players. Not exactly the combo you want when you host the World Cup in exactly one year. 

This is why I have a problem with the big names sitting out of the Gold Cup for rest. Yeah, it ultimately doesn't matter, the only thing that matters is the World Cup. But look at that quote again and you can understand why people are pissed that guys are sitting out. You need guys there to bring in some sort of leadership to guys. Instead we lose 2-1 to Turkey and 4-0 to Switzerland. Bang up job, boys. 

Also if we are going to play all these new guys, why the fuck do we insist on running Tim Ream and Walker Zimmerman out there? No offense to them, they did their jobs, but if you're going to go young, throw in new faces all over. We've seen Tim Ream and Walker Zimmerman. If they are starting or fighting to start next year in the World Cup, things are going seriously wrong. There's plenty of problems but that stuck out to me. Same with Matt Turner. He's not the answer in goal. He has a chance to save himself with more playing time at Lyon but he's proven he can't sit on the bench for club and show up for the USMNT anymore. 

Again, I understand what this roster is and was yesterday, but that's part of the problem. There's no depth, there's no heart. No one is going to give a shit about the Gold Cup unless we lose to a Trinidad and Tobago on Sunday. September we play Japan and South Korea. Those games should have our normal roster and really the last bit of World Cup prep. That's when we truly panic. But for right now everything is dogshit and every single person associated with the USMNT and US Soccer Federation should be embarrassed and/or fired.
