The Murray State Racers are on the way to Omaha for the College World Series! The Missouri Valley Conference Champions  are only the 4th #4 seed in the history of the NCAA Tournament to pull this feat off. Hell, Murray State had NEVER even won a game in the tourney before 2025! And they did it in dramatic fashion.....

Trailing 3-2 in the 7th, their stud Jonathan Hogart went deep for what feels like the 15th time in this tourney.

Then Luke Mistone followed Hogart with another bomb to take the lead in the 8th!

The Racers added on another run but Duke hit a solo shot to cut it to 5-4 headed to the 9th. 

After a controversial overruling of a runner's interference slide into 2nd, Murray was able to secure the final out and hit the dogpile!

Murray follows Oral Roberts (2023 CWS) as Missouri Valley Champ and #4 seed to get to Omaha.

Can the Racers make a run?!?!? Who the hell knows? They damn sure can score a lot of runs. It is hard to hit homers in the pitching friendly confines of Omaha but not striking out does help.

The Racers do not have the pitching depth of the other teams in the field but might be the best hitting team and they are now America's Team…… that has to count for something!

Murray State plays UCLA Saturday at 1pm in the College World Series.
