The Waiting Game Is Finally Over: Aaron Rodgers Is Reportedly Flying To Pittsburgh Tomorrow To Sign With The Steelers

At least the daily update on whether or not Aaron Rodgers is going to retire or not is done, at least for now. This has to be the least shocking move this offseason, Rodgers was linked to the Steelers forever and despite Terry Bradshaw hating it, it's done.

Real question is, did this country club know what was happening? What country club is Aaron Rodgers joining?

Just goes to show you how outrageous this story got because of how long it all took. Now he's going to fly to the Steelers, be QB1 and have one of the weirdest looking jerseys out there. Speaking of his jersey collection and last stop being the Jets, want to guess who the Steelers play in week 1?

Justin Fields and the Jets in the Meadowlands.

Don't ever forget the NFL is a soap opera league. I know they couldn't have 'planned' it, but they 100% tried to. You can't convince me this wasn't made week 1 with the understanding that Rodgers would finally sign with Pittsburgh. I actually like it as someone who doesn't cheer for either team. Just like in college sports where if a coach leaves for a bigger school they should have to play their former school, same goes for QBs. I know it's harder with 32 teams and a smaller schedule, but flex something into a week 1 return.

I have no idea what this is going to be like. I have no idea what sort of quarterback Aaron Rodgers is anymore because like every great athlete and blogger he tore his Achilles and is trying to still figure out life a couple years later. What I do know is I wish George Pickens was still on the Steelers for this. They'll be 9-8 because that's what the Steelers always are, but give me Rodgers-DK-Pickens for entertainment value.
