It's Sad To See Dez Bryant, And Apparently The Entire Internet, Is Not Milton Tough

Andy Bernard could not have been more spot-on when he said "I wish there was a way to know you were in the good old days before you actually left them." We truly did not know how good we used to have it on the internet. There are people reading this, and I love you guys, but there are people reading this who have no idea the internet used to be fun. Even when the Deadspins of the world tried day after day after day to bring us down, it was still fun. it's really hard to describe exactly what I mean, but literally for years straight Deadspin was trying to put us out of business. Idiots like Julie DiCaro woke up every day trying to make every single one of us unemployed. It was the internet war that never ended until Deadspin was sued into Bolivian by Hulk Hogan and now Barstool is the last man standing from the good ol' days. But things are changing still...and fast.

With Dave running a kennel in Miami and Big Cat running an ice cream parlor in Chicago, the internet is getting softer and softer by the minute. And that could not be more clear than the outrage online yesterday simply because Dave yelled at one of his employees. Simply because Dave called Kirk a bitch, we have Dez Bryant crying in his Cheerios that Dave was mean. We have hundreds of people telling Kirk to go to HR. Every single person on "outrage Twitter" has chimed in. And quite frankly, it's pathetic.

Imagine the internet was like this back in the day when Hank was being screamed at every 3 minutes and duct taped to the wall? When Feits was basically fired for not showing up on the day of the biggest blizzard in Boston history? You wanna ask Office Manager Brett about what it really means to be screamed at by Dave???? Shit, I have been yelled at so many times they all sort of run together. In my mind I know there was one time Dave yelled at me so loud I started yelling back, but I can't even remember what it was about. It's just how Dave communicates. But now, sadly, if Dave god forbid yells at an employee the internet clips it and runs with it. Hope Dez Bryant doesn't see this one!

I'm not saying what Dave does is healthy by any means. But what I am saying is this is what has always separated Barstool from everyone else. If historically Collin Rugg clipped every time Dave yelled at an employee we'd live in a society where Megan Greenwell (The Green Monster) is making all the decisions. And that's not a society I want to live in at all.

Yeah, and if we want to end this blog with getting a little bit of honesty off our chests, it does suck Dave is mostly out of the picture. The company and the internet is better when he's in the mix, and not just yelling about politics. I get it, but it doesn't mean it doesn't stink. You know that famous scene where Walter White won't sell his share of the methylamine because who wants to live in a world without classic Coke? That's how it feels right now seeing these losers tell Kirk to call HR because Dave was mean to him for a few minutes. #NotMyBarstool #NotMyInternet
