Dedicated Diddy Hater, 50 Cent, Vows To "Personally Reach Out To President Trump" To Discourage Any Possibility Of A Presidential Pardon

USA Today - 50 Cent is looking to give President Donald Trump his two cents about Sean "Diddy" Combs.

In an Instagram post on May 30, the "In da Club" rapper said he'll reach out to Trump after the president said he would "look at the facts" in Combs' case, suggesting a pardon could be on the table.

50 Cent shared a clip of the president's comments in his post and wrote that Combs "said some really bad things about Trump," adding that he will "reach out so he knows how I feel about this guy."

In a follow-up post, 50 Cent suggested Combs' past comments about Trump could prevent a potential pardon. "Donald doesn't take well to disrespect, and doesn't forget who chooses to go against him," he wrote. He also shared a screenshot of an article suggesting he was trying to "nuke" Combs' chances of pardon, clarifying, "I didn't say I would nuke anything, I simply said I will make sure Trump is aware."

When asked in the Oval Office on May 30 about the possibility of pardoning Combs, Trump said that "nobody's asked" about it, but that "I know people are thinking about it," and "some people have been very close to asking." He went on to say that he would "look at the facts" of Combs' case. "If I think somebody was mistreated, whether they like me or don't like me, it wouldn't have any impact," he said.

For things that go without saying, and don't really need to be pointed out- we are living in one hell of a timeline right now.

We've got one of the most prolific rappers of all time, a man with as much street-cred as just about anybody, releasing a statement to his 35.1 Million Instagram followers that we needn't worry about Diddy getting a pardon from his boy President Trump, because he's going to personally ensure that doesn't happen."

Wild.

As I mentioned in my Diddy Trial Week 3 recap blog, The President was asked last week if he would ever consider a presidential pardon for the disgraced rapper/mogul.

Despite Trump never saying that he would necessarily, rumors spread that that was the case.

The reporter asked and framed the question to him based on their past relationship- the two being major players in the New York City celebrity scene, they weren't close friends, but they definitely weren't strangers either.

The President's response as that he "would consider all the facts", but noted and longtime hater 50 Cent doesn't give a damn about facts. If it's up to him, Combs could catch the biggest raw deal of the century and it still wouldn't be enough.

I'm not sure there's ever been an example of hating somebody so drastically, for so long, ever in the history of music.

I know Carly Simon wrote "You're So Vain" for Warren Beatty, after their divorce due to infidelity.

But that's not shit compared to "U Not Like Me", which 50 Cent supposedly released on his debut album as a clear message directed towards Combs that he was officially done ghost-writing for him and his artists and getting zero credit, and fractions of the money promised.

5 years later, 50 doubled down on that, by dropping "The Bomb", in which he accused Combs of allegedly having a hand in the hit that killed The Notorious B.I.G.

Despite all of this very public shit talking, and the allegations, Combs made it a point not to respond to 50.

And as we found out in his trial last week, according to testimony from his former assistant Capricorn Clark, he was terrified for his life about running into 50 Cent in public. In fact, she alleged that he and his closest people carried firearms on them in case that moment ever occurred.

Fast forward to 2017 and Diddy has his own vodka brand under the Diageo flag- Ciroc, and 50 Cent had a large partnership with Effen.

50 went on The Drink Champs podcast and went out of his way to educated everybody on "Diddy's vodka" actually not even being vodka. He pointed out that it's grapes that says "mixed with vodka". Pointing out that it was "all sugar".

He also talked about how uncomfortable he was the time Diddy told him he was "going to take him shopping" like he was one of his bitches.

A story he's recounted now numerous times.

He mentioned the incident again in a 2024 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, recalling how it changed his view of the rapper moving forward.

“He asked to take me shopping. I thought that was the weirdest shit in the world because that might be something that a man says to a woman,” he said. “And I’m just like, ‘Naw, I’m not fucking with this weird energy or weird shit,’ coming off the way he was just moving. From that, I wasn’t comfortable around him.”

(Unlike some people apparently…)

Diddy was actually asked about this point blank by Chalemagne during his appearance on The Breakfast Club in 2018.

"Y’all can’t see that he loves me? You really think that’s hate? You know he loves me," he said.

Combs went on to jokingly beg 50 Cent to be his friend so that he could share some of his tips for acquiring his wealth.

"Me and him could be friends, but he doesn’t want to be my friend," he said. "I wanna be his friend so I could teach him everything I know so he could become a better money-getter since I’m the number one money-getter in the world."

Combs joked, "Yo, 50 please be my friend. 50 you’re breaking my heart. Curtis, please be my friend. Please."

Since then, 50 Cent has been arguably the most vocal person on the planet about what a scumbag Sean Combs is. Far, far before charges were officially filed and he was indicted.

He's been on the public record for legit 15+ years making subliminal AND extremely vocal comments about this shit. We just didn't realize it at the time.

And before this even culimanted in the Federal RICO case that is has become, 50 started pouring millions of dollars and hours of time into producing a documentary aptly titled, Diddy Do It?, which he sold to Netflix after a "massive bidding war". Though no official number has been reported, rumors are he made close to $200 million on the deal.

(Sidebar - he also didn't hold back in vocalizing the dozens of celebrities taking Diddy's side in trying to prevent him from producing the doc.)

This man gives zero fucks. And he has been a must-follow since this trial kicked off.

And he stays trolling 24/7. He went to Indianapolis on Saturday to watch the Knicks get dogwalked by the Pacers, rocking a "Free Diddy" shirt -

p.s. - I would love the chance to sit down and ask 50 a few questions off the record. Obviously I would love to know what really happened with the Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac murders. And if Combs really was involved in them both. But I would also love to know something totally random that's been bugging me forever since knowing how much he hates Combs, and that is how on Earth was Diddy allowed to use 50's (and G-Unit's) verses on the "Victory" Remix he put on the Bad Boy Records Anniversary album?

And besides, "Let's Get It", what other songs did he write for Diddy and Bad Boy artists?

p.p.s. - if you needed any proof that 50 Cent really knows where bodies are buried and isn't talking out of his ass, look no further than the fact that absolutely nobody steps to him or responds when he trashes them or pops off. Case in point, former federal parole officer turned "drug kingpin rapper" Rick Ross. He's been in 50 Cent's crosshairs for years and refuses to respond to him because he knows its a losing battle and doesn't want to end up like Ja Rule. Some people would call that being a very smart man.
