'Those Guys Are Not In His League' - Jack Nicklaus Delivered Some Brutal Ricochet Shots While Calling Scottie The Best Golfer In The World

We all agree that Jack isn't wrong here, but a little unfair to someone like Sepp Straka. He's good! I like Sepp Straka a lot and he's going to win a major at some point, but this is just an incredible ricochet shot by Jack. We know that Scottie is the best in the world. We know that if Scottie has a lead after 54 holes just give him the trophy. 

I will say this is the annoying part of the two tours right now. Not that Jack is wrong or it would change all that much with the two tours, but you have people wanting to put an asterisk on Scottie's career. Those people are dumb. Look at what Scottie does in majors, it doesn't matter who is in the field. I will say the funniest part by far of this comment is that Straka and Griffin both won multiple times on tour this year. Those are the guys playing well. Sure, not in Scottie's league, but better than some of the others out there he could have named. 

Jack isn't going to hide how he feels. That's how every old person is to begin with and you throw in the fact that he's arguably the best golfer ever and you can go unfiltered. Plus, it's his event. If you host the event you get immunity to say whatever you want. That feels like a fair trade. But, yeah, no one is in Scottie's league right now. It's his tour.
