The Knicks Get Eliminated From The Playoffs By The Pacers For The Second Straight Season After A Super Sloppy Game 6

There it is and there it was. Everyone knew the Knicks had a big uphill battle after getting their guts ripped out in Game 1 following the act of God that was Aaron Nesmith. They showed fight not getting eliminated at MSG in Game 5 and had a chance to win tonight but were just flat out too sloppy. Turnovers all over the goddamn place, shitty free throw shooting, and an OUTRIGHT REFUSAL TO PLAY TRANSITION DEFENSE ON PASCAL SIAKIM OR PRETTY MUCH ANYBODY FOR THE ENTIRE SERIES.

So now the Knicks longest run in 25 years is over and we can lament on just how many things had to go right to even get this far while also wondering what the team will look like next season. Good times! On the bright side, I don’t have to listen to Reggie Miller and Stan Van Gundy call the game while waving yellow Pacers towels any more, so it’s not all bad.

Plus if I am being honest, it would have taken an all-time spinzone for me to convince myself that this flawed Knicks team was going to beat the absolute buzzsaw coming out of the West.

Jesus Christ, what a ridiculous run. I don't know how the Pacers will match up with the collection of superfreaks the Thunder can throw at them, but I do know that all of New York will continue rooting for orange and blue in The Finals, even if nobody cares to watch it.

Now hit the motherfucking music!
