'It's Not Been Fun, But I Do See Fun Days Ahead' - Max Homa Dropping Wisdom About Fixing His Golf Game, Trying To Qualify For The US Open

Think it's pretty clear we all love Max here. So if he says there are fun days ahead, so be it. This also just sums up everyone trying to figure shit out. Bad day of parenting where the kids are just disasters? This is something I've said multiple times. Can't hit a putt? Yeah, better days ahead buddy. Probably not, but you can trick your brain into it. This is key for Max though, because of the whole pro golf thing, and the fact he's trying to qualify for the US Open

Pretty simple for Max. He has to win The Memorial this week, or be in the top-60 of the OWGR after the Tournament to automatically qualify for the US Open. As I blog this he's -2 and in 6th place of the Tournament. He entered 114th in the OWGR and currently sits at 66th with the live standings. I say all that because Max needs more fun days. Today is not one of those days. It's miserable out, pouring rain and he's +2 on the day.

I said it before but I love the qualifiers for the US Open. You get guys like Danny Woodhead trying to make it and then you have Max Homa, who actually showed up for the USA in the last Ryder Cup, trying to make the same event. Different levels, different stops, sure, but it's all through qualifying. Get Max to the US Open. Get Max some fun days ahead.
