EA Sports (Led By Their Michigan Man Senior Producer) Is Back At It Again With More Character Assassination Of Ohio State Via The Use Of Video Game Trailers
I'll admit that I was excited to hear the trailer for the new College Football '26 game came out this morning. After battling Rob Jones, Senior Producer of EA Sports and "huge Michigan fan", all last year with his clear and obvious assault on Ohio State football through the systematic delivery of hints and clues through the vehicle of video game trailers.....I was happy to see that the Buckeyes finally got the respect they deserved when it was announced Ryan Day, Jeremiah Smith, and Caleb Downs would all be a part of the cover.
I'm not giving EA much credit by the way. It would've been a federal crime if any of these three, who are the undisputed best at their position in the entire sport, were left off the cover. But either way, it was good to see respect be given where it was due.
....and that lasted 2 days when this morning, EA Sports was back at it again with throwing little shots at Ohio State in their trailers. This time, they had Bryce Underwood (who has taken a grand total of zero snaps in college), eluding Kenyatta Jackson (National Champion) to make a deep throw down the field.

Why? You can say I'm overreacting, but on the flip side, we can all agree that never in one million years would one of these trailers show the opposite. Jeremiah Smith catching a touchdown in the Big House? Caleb Downs laying the wood on a freshman? Nope, never.
Shame on you, EA Sports. And to the people saying I should just shut up about these issues…..See Something, Say Something. The moment I stop calling them out on their bullshit, the worse and worse it'll get for the National Champions.
