Stop Trying To Ruin College Basketball - Charlie Baker Claims A 'Top Priority' Is NCAA Tournament Expansion, Which Could Happen This Season

Enough man. Expansion for all these playoffs are ruining sports. We don't need it, we don't want it. There isn't anyone with a brain who thinks we need to expand the NCAA Tournament. The only argument those morons say back to me is 'it'll make Tuesday and Wednesday more fun.' Do we remember play-in games? They usually aren't great because the teams playing in it kinda suck. There's a reason they are in Dayton as an 11-seed instead of playing on Thursday/Friday on the bracket. We don't need more of that. 

And the smarter counterargument to those saying Tuesday and Wednesday would be more fun is reminding them about the week before. Conference tournament week is as good as it gets. Those are play-in games. We're just going to stop worrying about those? Yeah, no thank you. We already have people screaming the regular season doesn't matter, now we're going to add more bad teams and make it all matter less. Awesome, that's great for the sport. 

Making the postseason in any sport is supposed to be hard. Expanding because people want more money and to feel like they are doing a good job is the pussy way out. I don't care that people are screaming there are 364 teams in Division I basketball. It's too many teams. Plus, we're not talking about the Le Moyne's of the world here. The teams that will get added in are the 7th place team in a shitty ACC or something like that. You know what the priorities should be? 

1. Transfer portal. One free transfer, then you can transfer without siting out again if your coach leaves. Common sense here.

2. Conferences that make goddamn sense. Stop letting these mega conferences control everything. Give me the conferences from the 90s and early 2000s back. 

3. Games start on time on television. Get with the networks and stop trying to say college basketball games will start in 2 hours and I have to go to 19 different channels to watch the game I want on because there's still 8 minutes left at 9:06pm from the 7pm game. 

Fuck off with any expansion talk.
