The Knicks Blew This Series By Refusing To Show Up When It Mattered, Listening To Them Talk About It Makes Everything Suck Even More

Fuck this, mostly because it's the same old story this series. A slow start, trying to figure out what went wrong while the Pacers shoot 70% from the field and then try to get bailed out in the 4th. That's what happens when you refuse to do anything positive in the first quarter. I know the joke is NBA games don't matter until there's 4 minutes left, but also helps when you're not playing out of a goddamn hole this entire series. 

Basically out of moves at this point too. You made the Mitch start over Hart move. You could start Deuce over someone but that's not going to solve any problems right now. For whatever reason this team refuses to show up early and it's why they blew this series. The worst part is listening to them acknowledge it over and over and over again

Starts with the game 1 collapse, then you give away game 2 with missed free throws and turnovers, game 4 you can't get a stop all while having your key guys throw up nothings late. Josh Hart was terrible, Jalen Brunson was invisible in the 4th, Bridges took forever to get going and made too many dumb mistakes, KAT tried forcing too much. In fact, I'd argue they needed to get OG involved more but he and everyone else can't stop Siakam, who is the guy absolutely murdering this team. 

The fact is this series is separated by 11 points in 4 games and the Knicks are down 3-1 because they refuse to show up when it matters right now. It's everything opposite that this team has done in the postseason. We're used to seeing them make the right plays in the 4th, stealing a victory and moving on. But to me it all starts right off the bat of every game. That's what sucks. This team is good, there's no reason for them to refuse to adapt or adjust to what's going on. Season on the line, someone better show up now.
