Alix Earle Once Again Hit D’Jais For Memorial Day Weekend And Let’s Grade The Performance

Alix Earle. Podcaster, influencer, D’Jais veteran.

As we learned last Memorial Day Weekend, Alix Earle, a New Jersey native, has impeccable test when it comes to bars down the shore.

In what seems like a yearly tradition, Alix Earle shows up on MDW down at D’Jais with her crew.

This year she did the full run on the experience, dance contest, grails and napkin tossing. Let’s grade the results.

Dance Contest

The goal is getting the coveted tshirt and hat. Mission accomplished.

I do laugh at the random girls nearby the stage from Paterson, Woodbridge or Piscataway who got a shore house for the summer thinking they would get picked before Alix Earle in the dance contest. Like Frank Sementa, Charlie Cavallo and Nico don’t have an eye for celebs who help publicity especially on a holiday weekend.

Grails

This is sacred ground here. The grail recipe is treated like nuclear codes. I’ve had Slim Cooper off camera at a private meeting and he won’t even  give me an ingredient much less the recipe to their famous drink. Same for Justin, Ashley, Nico, Jen Strong, Coop and even Kenny Hammer back in the day. Locked up like Fort Knox. But if you are a patron there you better know how to drink it and drink it fast as people usually take pride in how quick they can go down. (pro tip- go three straws not the two they give you and stick them right down the bottom past the ice) I hate to be judgmental here but this is a poor performance. Now I will factor in that girls drink them much slower, but some of her crew didn’t even drink them. Cmon people. The whole fun of getting a round of grails from Fun Anthony is putting them down together.

Napkin Toss

The key to napkin tossing is gotta go with a bigger stack and toss up not out. She nailed it. Even timed the music well. Could have used a little more enthusiasm to get the crowd going but very solid overall.

Overall a strong performance. The key with MDW is though you can have a strong Friday but you still got Saturday Sunday and for the real savages the Monday Survivor Party so so waste all your best moves early. It’s a long weekend.

Also for all the people asking … I have been retired from the shore for a decade plus. It’s a young man’s game let them enjoy it.
