The Pacers Straight Up Take Game 2 From The Knicks To Go Back To Indy Up 2-0 And Everything Sucks

Well this is exactly what every Knicks fan dreaded for the 48 hours following Game 1 once the shock of the Pacers ripping our guts out wore off and we could start semi-rationally thinking about basketball again. The Pacers came back into MSG, matched the Knicks every step of the way, and did just enough in the final minutes to hold on for a W. Nobody on the Knicks morphed into Michael Jordan like Aaron Nesmith during that timeframe in Game 1. But unlike the Knicks in Game 1, the Pacers hit their free throws and made enough plays to go back to Indy up 2-0.

Now we have another 48 hours to question whether the Knicks season will even make it back to New York and if their head coach will even be on the sidelines given some of his lineup choices along the way from the starters' minutes together all the way to Cam Payne's time in the 4th. Good times! To make matters worse, I feel like Game 3 is when the team running a 7.5 man rotation is gonna start running out of gas compared to the team that plays no less than a dozen players every game.

I'd say Knicks fans should try their best to enjoy Memorial Day Weekend but even that seems impossible since the sun apparently died at some point during the Celtics series so I guess let's just pray they can steal Game 3 and allow us to continue to dream into next week.
