Shoutout To The Internet For Turning Pacers/Knicks Game 1 Into A Perfect Episode Of Curb Your Enthusiasm

I think we can all agree that there were a lot of incredible moments over the course of Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Pacers and Knicks. One of the best playoff games you'll ever see if we're being honest about it. It had everything, from never before seen collapses, true holy shit level shot making, both fanbases experiencing the highest of highs AND the lowest of lows all within the same 48 minute game. An instant classic.

One outcome from this historic playoff game that I personally have enjoyed the next day is how the internet immediately urned it into what you know would be an all time classic episode of Curb. Even if you're a depressed Knicks fan at the moment, everyone could use a laugh. Especially when you experience something like last night. That takes you to a dark, dark place. Trust me, I just lived it. Twice.

Bravo. Two 10 out of 10s with no notes. You're going to sit here and tell me that you don't read that first tweet in Suzie's voice with her exact cadence? Liar. Yes you did. We all did. You're going to tell me that isn't 10000000% what she would say in that moment if this were an episode of Curb? Don't be an idiot. That's exactly what she would say. Absolutely nailed it.

You then pair it with the ending clip of Larry's reaction, combined with the closing music? Perfection. You know what, I think Larry David needs to step up and make this a special. It's too good not to. Larry David somehow being responsible for one of the biggest playoff collapses in basketball history is such a Curb storyline I can't even stand it. He's already tripped and injured Shaq, you're telling me he can't also be responsible for last night? Have a scene where he gets into it with Reggie Miller in the tunnel about disrespecting the Bald Code and how he doesn't want to see his bald brother happy or something along those lines. Call me crazy, but there's potential there.

The point is, like anyone else who has watched every episode of Curb an ungodly number of times, really I just miss it and want it back in my life again.

Personally, I think it will always be my GOAT show. Picking a favorite episode is basically impossible. Palestinian Chicken? The Doll? Beloved Aunt? Freak Book? Black Swan? You get the point. I know there are bigger and more successful shows, but to me Curb stands alone. How many shows can you say there's truly never been a bad season, or hell even a bad episode? Even the early first season episodes are hilarious.

All I know is I'm hoping this continues to be a trend for the rest of the series. Knowing there's zero chance Larry David would ever go to Indiana for Games 3&4, I'm going to need the Knicks to win at least 1 game in this series so we can be guaranteed at least 2 more Larry David at MSG opportunities.
