Don't You Dare Think About Asking Scottie Scheffler When The PGA/LIV Merger Is Happening Or If He'd Be As Successful If There Was Still One Tour

Love this from Scottie. He's showing a little bit of passion, a little bit of cockiness and all deserved. He's made it pretty clear, if you want to find out when the merge is happening, go ask LIV or the higher ups. Scottie Scheffler is only here to win golf tournaments and put together one of the more dominant runs we've seen since Tiger. I don't even get the point of asking if he'd be as successful if Brooks, Bryson, etc were still on the PGA Tour. The guy runs away with Tournaments, much like he did last week at the PGA Championship. Yeah, you're playing against other golfers, but it's really you vs the course. You post the number and see what others do. 

Oh and this is how he started the first tournament since winning the PGA: 

We're not talking about an aging vet here either. Scottie is very much in his prime, there's nothing to think that he wouldn't have won all these tournaments. Yeah, maybe he gets caught once or twice, but the dude has shown in majors with these guys he's still the best in the world. What's next? An asterisk on Scottie's career because he didn't play against Talor Gooch? Come on. 

I actually appreciate all of this from Scottie. He's the face of golf. He's the guy who is putting together the run, so when he speaks people should actually listen. He's also not wrong. The LIV guys left, I don't blame them for taking a ton of money, but the fact is they left. It's when the merge happens and it's not up to guys like Scottie.
