Not Done Yet: Jalen Brunson Showed Why He's The Knicks Savior, Knows Getting To The Conference Finals Isn't An Accomplishment For This Team

Goddamn, just when I thought Jalen Brunson was already the perfect Knick, he keeps talking. Every time Jalen Brunson talks he sounds better and better, ever Knicks fan should feel luckier and luckier. That's what Jalen Brunson has done for this franchise. He's 100% correct here. Us fans can and should celebrate everything involved with getting to this point, especially with the break from game 6 vs the Celtics to game 1 vs the Pacers.

But the players? Not even close to an accomplishment. I also know that Jalen Brunson is feeling loose when he's making fun of Josh Hart:

This is why we declare him our captain. He knows what the Knicks history is, he knows that we can't just celebrate beating the Celtics. It's a revenge series. It's revenge from last year and losing in game 7 with all the injuries. No excuses going into game 1 considering the Knicks are finally healthy. Thibs knows the history.

This is exactly what I want my guys to say. I want Jalen Brunson to acknowledge fans can go batshit crazy because we haven't been here in 25 years while saying the job's not done. He knows what's at stake, he knows he has to show up and be a superstar. Not done yet.
