The New Hampshire Granite Finally Might Be Decent
I've been the GM of the New Hampshire Granite for two seasons now on Barstool Gametime. It's an expansion team I created on NBA 2K25. The first two seasons have not been a rousing success on the court.
2024-25: 10-72 (.122)
2025-26: 15-67 (.183)
But those are the bad old days. I think we've finally gotten to a point we were are pretty good. If you haven't been watching the streams and think building a team is fun, this is a good time to jump in.
While we have been awful on court, we have gotten two very lucky breaks. After the first year, we had the second pick in the draft but desperately wanted Cooper Flagg.
Cooper Flagg wound up winning the Rookie Of the Year and is is a huge part of our roster this year.
The other lucky break we got was when we had the 1st and 4th best odds to win the lottery (thanks to getting picks by tanking) and wound up with the 1st and 2nd pick in the draft. We drafted A.J. Dybansta and Darryn Peterson.
As you can see from the top picture, Trigs did an amazing job designing us a new logo and new uniforms. After the disastrous first season when I designed the uniforms, thanks to him we finally look like an actual NBA team now.
We started off the 2026-27 season 3-2 and it seems like we are actually (finally) a competitive team. Late last season, we made trades for Alperen Sengun and Tyrese Maxey. We're finally not getting blown out by 35 regularly.
I know this is a weird niche thing and not for everyone but it's been a blast doing these. The chat is very helpful and it's been fun collaborating with people and trying to build a winning roster.
We'll be streaming today at Barstool Gametime at 3 PM. Get ROCK HARD with us!
