Best Golfer In The World - Scottie Scheffler Dominates The Weekend, Runs Away With The PGA Championship (BONUS: Perfect Hat Spike Celebration)

I don't know what else there is to say at this point about Scottie Scheffler. The dude is inevitable, he's the best player in the world and just has to remind everyone about it from time to time. I saw the comparison to Tim Duncan and it's becoming even more true: 

Showed even more true today. Jon Rahm looked like he was going to steal it, then he imploded. Alex Noren imploded almost immediately. It didn't matter because Scottie just stays even. A bogey on 1? Dude just goes and birdies the next hole. That's what Scottie does better than anyone else. I know the last hole was whatever, it also didn't matter. Scottie had a 6 stroke lead going into 18 and frankly should have made it more interesting. Play 18 with just hit putter or just a 7 iron. 

To be fair, he really won the tournament yesterday. The moment he delivered a fuck yeah baby and dominated the Green Mile, it was done.

Look, I know a ton of people will make the joke, so we'll just put it here. Scottie got arrested at this tournament a year ago, won it running away this year. That's the Scottie Scheffler experience. Dude is just a regular dad who happens to be the best golfer in the world and quickly becoming an all-time great. 

Fitting that we ended up with a dominant leaderboard after the first day or two and everyone saying it needed juice. Quail Hollow has its problems, but getting Rahm and Scottie on Sunday being tied at a point was worth it. One responded and that's why Scottie is the best in the world.
