Nobody Is More Delusional Than Michael Block - Blames His +15, Missed Cut On Having A Small Crowd Following Him Around Quail Hollow
And that's enough of the Michael Block celebration. I know a couple years ago a lot of people started loving the guy, seeing his run at the PGA Championship and the ace with Rory. Now? Yeah, let Ben An sum it up
I mean this guy sucks. He'd obviously beat my ass in golf, but blaming a +15, 150th place at the PGA Championship on few people following you around is something I expect from the best of the best. This is a Sergio or Phil type quote from back in the day, not Michael Block. This is why I almost feel the need to respect it. If you have this much of an ego, lack this much of any self-awareness, you are just crazy enough to reel me back in. We got a leaderboard at least starting to get bunched up, Scottie making a run, Max looking back, Vegas leading after the first two rounds, but, yeah, get Block the crowd.
This is also the biggest lie I've ever heard. He played well once in front of a crowd. I've seen enough people claim they thrive in pressure situations and then the cart girl is sitting 300 yards away and they shank every shot. That or the group will let us play through and the guy talking about how he thrives under pressure tops his drive 42 yards. That's how I assume Michael Block works here.
Never forget this quote:
Shows how easy it is to turn into the villain. Again, I'm almost forced to respect the insane thought process by Michael Block. It's up there in terms of hypothetical arguments.
